This was a fun collaboration!
Ashleigh at The Facialist wanted to create an aesthetic, welcoming reception and display area in their newly renovated spa space at City Works Depot in Auckland.
The counter is the hero piece, designed to capture the eye on arrival, all the while serving its function as reception desk. The rounded edges and treated paintwork give a warm, yet sharp style to the space.
Serious anchoring supports were required to float the heavy eucalyptus shelf lengths on the concrete display wall and the result is an elegant, elemental feel.
